Hi I’m Monica,

I’m a graphic designer and artist working at the intersection of visual communication and illustration.

As a designer, I create clear, engaging, and visually distinctive work across packaging, editorial design, and visual communication. My experience includes projects for fashion, cultural institutions, and the pharmaceutical and naval industries, including Government Organizations and ongoing work with Zara, where I translate complex ideas into refined, accessible visuals.

Alongside this, my artistic practice brings a more expressive and narrative-driven layer to my work. Influenced by music, film, and literature, I create images that feel atmospheric, bold, and emotionally engaging, bridging applied design with a more personal visual language.

I also work as a live illustrator at events, festivals, and cultural programmes, creating quick, hand-drawn portraits that capture people in the moment. This has become a growing part of my practice, combining observation, performance, and storytelling into a unique experience.
